Christmas Fashion Sunday

Fashionistas have declared Christmas sweaters “tacky”  and “old ladyish.”  In honor of the Humor and Joy of Christmas, Nancy Beeley and I are proposing that the Sunday before Christmas (December 18th) be declared  “Tacky Christmas Sweater Day”  and we all dress in glory for the 8 and 10 o’clock services.  In the St. A’s spirit of inclusiveness, men are also invited to wear their shirts, ties, socks, etc . Everyone is welcome to wear their tacky or beautiful Christmas attire, but we must pay for the privilege.   Please throw an extra $1 (or more) cash in the collection plate and bring at least one canned good that Sunday.  Could someone announce this at the 8 AM service
