We are looking for Ebay savvy parishoners who can help us with yard sale type activities throughout the year.  Small things that we may be able to sell as a fundraiser.  Interested parties can contact David Masse or David Dobbins.

There will be an announcement coming soon on the starting up of the St. A’s Men’s group.

June 1 – Garage Sale

June 23rd-  August  Sundays- one service @ 9am

August 3  The Return of Clucky – the Chicken BBQ

Here is some information regarding the upcoming parish yard sale on Saturday, June 1st from 9-2. Early birds at 8:30.  It is held rain or shine in the basement of the church. Because we essentially have no storage space we cannot accept items until the week of the sale, preferably on the Thursday or Friday, May 30 and 31. If those days don’t work for you please call or email Nancy Brown Cobb or Judi Betty for special arrangements.  We will accept anything that you can transport (i.e. not too heavy) except clothing and textbooks. We will need help to make it a success. Last year the yard sale brought in the most money of all the fund raisers so it is an important event. We need people to unpack, organize and price the items for sale on Thursday and Friday, May 30 and 31 between the hours of 9 and 3.  The day of the sale, Saturday, we need help from 8-2 for the sale itself. (bag sitters, roamers, and 2 persons at each of 2 cash out stations). We usually organize in 2 hour segments but are flexible with times.  Lastly at 2pm we need a lot of help boxing up the remains, taking some items to the dump or recycling. If anyone has a truck and can volunteer it from 2-4, that would be appreciated!
If you can come for any or all of the days please respond by email with the days and times you are available to Nancy or Judi. Again, thank you in advance for donating your time to this wonderful event!  Judi Betty and Nancy Brown Cobb
